TappyLinks Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: January 1, 2024
Last Updated: August 18, 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of TappyLinks.com and the websites, hosted profiles, QR codes, NFC-enabled services, digital tools, MediTappy profiles, and other services operated through or provided by Plus Six Solutions under the TappyLinks and MediTappy brands (collectively, the “Services”).
In these Terms, “TappyLinks,” “MediTappy,” “Plus Six Solutions,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Plus Six Solutions and the services it operates under the TappyLinks and MediTappy names. “You” and “your” refer to the individual accessing or using the Services and, where applicable, the individual or organization responsible for an account or profile.
By creating an account, activating or managing a profile, connecting a QR code or NFC-enabled product to the Services, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
1. About TappyLinks
TappyLinks provides digital profile and information-sharing services that may be accessed through web links, QR codes, NFC-enabled products, and other technologies.
Depending on the features you use, TappyLinks may allow you to create and manage profiles containing information such as contact information, links, social media profiles, images, business information, emergency contacts, medical information, or other information you choose to provide.
Certain products and services offered under the MediTappy brand use the TappyLinks platform to host profiles intended to make user-selected emergency and medical information more readily accessible.
The availability, functionality, appearance, and features of the Services may change over time.
2. MediTappy Services
MediTappy products may connect a physical identification product, including an NFC-enabled or QR-enabled tag, card, pendant, accessory, or similar product, to a digital profile hosted through TappyLinks.
A MediTappy profile may allow you to provide information such as:
- Your name or identifying information;
- Emergency contacts;
- Medical conditions;
- Allergies;
- Medications;
- Blood type;
- Medical devices;
- Physicians or healthcare contacts;
- Instructions or information you consider important in an emergency; and
- Other information you choose to include.
You control the information you choose to place in your MediTappy profile, subject to these Terms and the available features of the Service.
MediTappy and TappyLinks do not independently verify the medical accuracy, completeness, or currency of information entered into a profile.
3. Emergency Profile Accessibility
The purpose of certain MediTappy features is to allow information selected by the profile owner to be accessed quickly by another person, including potentially a first responder, healthcare provider, caregiver, family member, bystander, or other person.
Depending on the configuration of the profile, some information may be accessible without requiring the person viewing the profile to sign into a TappyLinks account.
You understand that information you intentionally make available through an emergency-accessible profile may be viewed by anyone who obtains access to the associated QR code, NFC product, profile URL, or other access method.
You should not place information in an emergency-accessible portion of a profile that you do not want others to be able to view.
We cannot control what another person does with information after that person has legitimately or illegitimately accessed, viewed, copied, photographed, screenshotted, written down, or otherwise obtained information displayed on your profile.
You are responsible for deciding what information is appropriate to make available through your profile.
4. MediTappy Is Not an Emergency Response Service
MediTappy and TappyLinks are information-access tools.
They are not emergency dispatch services, medical monitoring services, medical alert call centers, emergency notification services, or substitutes for emergency medical services.
MediTappy does not automatically contact 911, emergency medical services, law enforcement, healthcare providers, emergency contacts, or other persons unless a particular feature specifically states otherwise.
In an emergency, users and other persons should contact 911 or the appropriate local emergency service when circumstances require emergency assistance.
You should never delay seeking emergency medical attention because of information displayed, unavailable, or expected to be available through MediTappy or TappyLinks.
5. No Guarantee That a Profile Will Be Accessed
Purchasing, wearing, carrying, displaying, scanning, tapping, or otherwise using a MediTappy product does not guarantee that any first responder, healthcare professional, caregiver, bystander, or other individual will notice the product, recognize its purpose, scan its QR code, tap its NFC component, access the associated profile, or rely upon the information displayed.
We do not control the actions, training, policies, equipment, technology, procedures, or decisions of emergency responders, healthcare professionals, hospitals, government agencies, or other third parties.
You acknowledge that MediTappy is intended to provide an additional method of communicating information and should not be your only means of communicating critical medical or emergency information.
6. No Medical Advice
TappyLinks and MediTappy do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, medical decision-making, or professional healthcare services.
Information stored in or displayed through a profile originates from users or other authorized persons and should not be interpreted as information provided or verified by TappyLinks or MediTappy.
Nothing provided through the Services establishes a doctor-patient, healthcare-provider-patient, or other professional medical relationship between you and Plus Six Solutions, TappyLinks, or MediTappy.
Questions concerning your medical condition, medication, treatment, emergency instructions, or the information that should appear in a MediTappy profile should be discussed with an appropriate qualified healthcare professional.
7. Accuracy and Maintenance of Profile Information
You are responsible for ensuring that information you provide through the Services is accurate, complete, appropriate, and current.
This responsibility is especially important for information that may be relevant during an emergency, including medications, allergies, medical conditions, emergency contacts, and treatment-related information.
You should review your MediTappy profile periodically and promptly update information when circumstances change.
TappyLinks and MediTappy are not responsible for consequences resulting from inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, misleading, or incorrectly entered information provided by a user.
We may provide tools or reminders intended to assist users in maintaining their profiles, but any such features do not transfer responsibility for the accuracy of a profile to us.
8. Profiles for Children, Dependents, and Other Persons
An adult may create or manage a profile for a minor child, dependent, family member, or another individual when the adult has the legal authority or appropriate permission to do so.
By entering personal, medical, emergency, or other information concerning another person, you represent that you are authorized to provide and manage that information.
For a minor child, profiles should be created and managed by a parent, legal guardian, or other adult who has appropriate authority.
The Services are not intended to allow children under 13 to independently create or manage TappyLinks or MediTappy accounts.
If you believe information concerning a minor or another individual has been submitted without appropriate authorization, please contact us using the contact information provided below.
9. Your Account
Certain Services may require an account.
You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for activity occurring through your account except to the extent caused by circumstances for which applicable law makes us responsible.
You should notify us promptly if you believe your account credentials have been compromised or someone has accessed or modified your profile without authorization.
You may not access another person’s account without authorization or attempt to circumvent account security or access controls.
10. Privacy and Consumer Health Data
Your privacy is important to us.
Our collection, use, storage, disclosure, sharing, and deletion of personal information is governed by our applicable privacy policies, including our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
Privacy Policy: [PRIVACY POLICY URL]
Where applicable law requires separate consent relating to the collection, use, or sharing of consumer health data, your agreement to these Terms is not intended to replace any separate consent required by law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or restrict privacy rights that cannot lawfully be waived or restricted.
Because certain MediTappy profiles are specifically designed to make selected information accessible during an emergency, information that you designate for emergency access may be accessible to persons without account authentication as described in these Terms and our applicable privacy policies.
11. Information You Choose to Make Accessible
You determine what information you choose to include in your profile.
Before adding sensitive information, consider whether making that information accessible through your QR code, NFC device, profile link, or other access method is appropriate for your circumstances.
Although we may provide security controls, access controls, account protections, or other safeguards, no Internet-based service can guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur.
You should immediately deactivate, modify, or otherwise secure a profile if you believe its associated access method has been compromised.
12. Lost, Stolen, or Transferred Products
A MediTappy or TappyLinks product may continue to direct users to its associated profile until the product or profile is deactivated, reassigned, disconnected, or otherwise changed.
If a product containing an NFC chip, QR code, or other profile access mechanism is lost or stolen, you should use available account controls or contact us promptly to determine whether the associated profile should be disabled or changed.
If you give, sell, transfer, or dispose of an associated physical product, you are responsible for removing or protecting personal information associated with the product before transferring possession whenever the available functionality permits you to do so.
Do not assume that transferring possession of a physical product automatically removes the digital information associated with it.
13. QR Code, NFC, Device, and Internet Limitations
TappyLinks and MediTappy depend on technologies and services that may be outside our control.
Successful access may depend upon factors including:
- Internet connectivity;
- Cellular or Wi-Fi service;
- Device compatibility;
- Smartphone hardware;
- Camera functionality;
- NFC functionality;
- Browser compatibility;
- Device settings;
- QR code condition and readability;
- NFC component condition;
- Third-party hosting or infrastructure;
- Network interruptions;
- User knowledge or actions; and
- Other technical factors.
We do not guarantee that every device will be capable of scanning a QR code, reading an NFC product, or properly displaying a profile.
NFC functionality may vary depending on device design, operating system, device settings, location of the NFC reader within the device, interference from cases or accessories, and other technical factors.
QR codes may become unreadable because of physical damage, obstruction, wear, printing issues, lighting, camera limitations, or other circumstances.
Users should periodically verify that their physical product and associated profile continue to function as expected.
14. User Content
“User Content” means information, text, photographs, images, links, documents, medical information, emergency information, and other materials that you submit to or store through the Services.
You retain whatever ownership rights you otherwise have in your User Content.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, reproduce, transmit, format, and display your User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, improve, and provide the Services you request, subject to our applicable privacy policies and applicable law.
This license does not transfer ownership of your User Content to us.
You represent that you have the necessary rights or authority to submit the User Content you provide.
15. Prohibited Content and Conduct
You may not use the Services to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation;
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or authority;
- Create a profile for another person without appropriate authority;
- Harass, threaten, exploit, stalk, or harm another person;
- Publish defamatory, fraudulent, obscene, or unlawful material;
- Infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- Distribute malware, malicious code, or harmful software;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user’s account;
- Probe, scan, test, or circumvent security measures without authorization;
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Services;
- Use automated systems to scrape, harvest, extract, or collect information from profiles without authorization;
- Use the Services for phishing, fraud, spam, or deceptive practices;
- Create QR codes, profiles, or links intended to facilitate unlawful conduct; or
- Use emergency or medical profiles in a manner intended to deceive healthcare professionals, emergency responders, or other persons.
We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe violate these Terms, applicable law, the rights of others, or the security or integrity of the Services.
16. Intellectual Property
Except for User Content and third-party materials, the Services and their associated software, designs, graphics, logos, trademarks, trade names, interfaces, databases, text, and other content are owned by or licensed to Plus Six Solutions and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
TappyLinks, MediTappy, their associated logos, and related brand elements may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, or used to imply affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement without authorization.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Services for their intended purposes.
You may not copy, reverse engineer, modify, sell, sublicense, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Services except as expressly permitted by us or applicable law.
17. Third-Party Websites and Services
Profiles may contain links to third-party websites, social networks, payment services, healthcare resources, businesses, or other external services.
We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices, products, services, or actions.
Accessing a third-party service is at your discretion and may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.
A link appearing on a TappyLinks profile does not necessarily constitute an endorsement, sponsorship, or recommendation by TappyLinks, MediTappy, or Plus Six Solutions.
18. Physical Products and Purchases
Certain TappyLinks or MediTappy Services may be associated with physical products purchased through a separate online store, retailer, distributor, affiliate, or other sales channel.
Product prices, shipping, returns, exchanges, warranties, subscriptions, promotional offers, and other purchase-specific terms may be governed by the terms presented at the time of purchase.
If separate purchase terms conflict with these Terms regarding a physical product transaction, the purchase-specific terms will control the transaction while these Terms will continue to govern use of the TappyLinks-hosted digital Services.
Purchase of a physical MediTappy or TappyLinks product does not guarantee perpetual availability of any particular digital feature unless expressly stated in writing at the time of purchase.
19. Paid Services and Subscriptions
Certain features may be offered free of charge while others may require payment or subscription.
If you purchase a paid service, pricing, billing frequency, renewal terms, cancellation terms, and other material payment conditions will be disclosed at or before purchase.
You are responsible for charges you authorize.
We may change the pricing or structure of Services prospectively. Any changes affecting an existing paid subscription will be handled in accordance with the terms presented for that subscription and applicable law.
20. Service Availability
We work to maintain reliable Services, but continuous or uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
The Services may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, upgrades, outages, security incidents, Internet failures, hosting failures, third-party service failures, circumstances beyond our reasonable control, or other events.
We may modify, update, replace, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, or maintain the Services.
When reasonably practical, we may provide notice of material changes affecting paid Services or critical functionality.
Because MediTappy may be used in situations involving important medical or emergency information, you should maintain other appropriate methods of communicating critical information and should not rely exclusively on the availability of a TappyLinks-hosted profile.
21. Security
We may use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information and the Services.
However, no method of Internet transmission, electronic storage, authentication, or information security can guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for using reasonable precautions to protect your account credentials, devices, profile links, and physical QR/NFC products.
If we become aware of a security incident requiring notification under applicable law, notifications will be handled in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
22. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services when reasonably necessary because of:
- A violation of these Terms;
- Fraudulent or unlawful activity;
- Abuse of the Services;
- Security concerns;
- Nonpayment of applicable fees;
- A threat to other users or our systems;
- A legal or regulatory requirement; or
- Discontinuation of a Service.
When circumstances reasonably permit, we may provide an opportunity to correct a violation before termination.
You may stop using the Services at any time.
Requests concerning deletion of personal information or consumer health data will be handled according to our applicable privacy policies and applicable law.
Termination of an account may cause QR codes, NFC products, profile URLs, and other associated access methods to stop displaying the information previously associated with the account.
23. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.
EXCEPT FOR WARRANTIES THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE DISCLAIMED, WE DISCLAIM EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, RELIABILITY, AND ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
- THE SERVICES WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE;
- A QR CODE OR NFC PRODUCT WILL FUNCTION WITH EVERY DEVICE;

- USER-PROVIDED INFORMATION WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE;
- THE SERVICES WILL BE FREE FROM INTERRUPTION OR ERROR; OR
- UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO INFORMATION WILL NEVER OCCUR.
Nothing in this section limits any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
24. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PLUS SIX SOLUTIONS, TAPPYLINKS, MEDITAPPY, AND THEIR OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES.
THIS INCLUDES, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DAMAGES OR LOSSES ARISING FROM:
- INABILITY TO ACCESS A PROFILE;
- FAILURE OF A QR CODE OR NFC PRODUCT TO BE READ;

- RELIANCE UPON INFORMATION PROVIDED BY A USER.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID DIRECTLY TO US FOR THE APPLICABLE DIGITAL SERVICE DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
Some jurisdictions may not permit certain limitations or exclusions. In those jurisdictions, these limitations will apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
25. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and defend Plus Six Solutions, TappyLinks, MediTappy, and their owners, employees, contractors, agents, and service providers against third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from:
- Your unlawful use of the Services;
- User Content you submit;
- Your violation of these Terms;
- Your infringement of another person’s rights;
- Information you provide about another person without proper authorization; or
- Fraudulent, abusive, or intentionally harmful conduct involving the Services.
This provision does not require you to indemnify us for claims caused by conduct for which applicable law makes us legally responsible.
26. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as our Services, products, technologies, or legal obligations change.
When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date and may provide additional notice when appropriate.
Changes will apply prospectively from their effective date unless applicable law requires otherwise.
If you continue using the Services after updated Terms become effective, your continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
If you do not agree with updated Terms, you should discontinue use of the Services.
27. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Subject to any rights or procedures that cannot lawfully be waived, disputes arising from these Terms or the Services will be brought in the state courts of competent jurisdiction located in Clark County, Washington, or, where federal jurisdiction exists, the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington.
28. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed if necessary.
The remaining provisions will remain in effect.
29. No Waiver
Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce that provision or any other provision in the future.
30. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent.
We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, change in ownership, or other legitimate business transaction, subject to applicable privacy and other laws.
31. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, any applicable purchase or subscription terms, and any additional terms expressly presented for a particular Service, constitute the agreement between you and us concerning use of the Services.
If additional terms expressly applicable to a particular Service conflict with these Terms, the more specific terms will control with respect to that Service.
